Cornelia Ann Jamison, affectionately known as Nita to many family and friends, transitioned on May 13, 2024 at the age of 71. Cornelia Ann Jamison was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on February 4th, 1953 to Henry Lee Jamison and Mary Lou Cutts Jamison. Nita graduated from Union High School. She loved to cook, read the newspaper, and spend time with her family and friends–especially her two granddaughters, Mary and Eloise Boston. Cornelia loved her dog, Bear, and had a heart of gold. Always willing to help others, she was loved by many.
She is preceded in death by her parents Mary Lou and Henry Lee Jamison, her brother Freeman Jamison, her sister Mildred P. Jamison Greer, her nephew Leonard Jamison, and her brother-in-law Willie Lagrone. She leaves to cherish her fondest memories her partner of 45 years, Robert Boston; her son and daughter-in-law, Jermaine and Amelia Boston; her granddaughters, Mary and Eloise; her sisters Nancy Lagrone, Dorthy Jamison, and Ruth Jamison; her brothers Michael Jamison, and Darrell Jamison with his wife Parris; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including her special friend Debra Wilson.
