Mark Steveson (Sr.) Weaver

Mark Weaver Sr. passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Spectrum Health Blodgett
Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 17, 1958 to Joseph and Lauree
Weaver in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from Ottawa Hills High School and
entered the work force. Mark enjoyed playing basketball, bowling, and spending time with
his extended family and friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, sister Hazel Lewis, brother Timothy Weaver,
and grandson Steven Lampton. He is survived by his wife Sharon Weaver; daughters
Latasha Lampton, Christa Porter (Franklin), and Crystal Weaver; his son Mark Weaver II;
grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Services will be held at Brown’s Funeral Home, 627 Jefferson Street SE, Grand Rapids,
Michigan on Monday, August 30, 2021. Family hour will begin 10:00 am followed by the
service at 11:00 am
