Richard Lee Pruitt

Richard Lee Pruitt, 84 years was born May 5, 1940 to Jackson Pruitt and Lucella HillPruitt. Richard passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024. Richard worked many years as a general laborer and spent much of his time traveling to visit family. He loved hunting and fishing, which he did regularly. His passions were being in the outdoors and helping whenever possible his 45 nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Jackson and Lucella, sisters Sadie Mae, Lucille, Sigerlee, Marie and Helen. Brothers Adgie, Lafayette, Emmett, Wardell and Eddie. He is survived to cherish his memory by his sister Sarah Holloway and Brother Jack Pruitt Jr. as well as his many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Special acknowledgment goes out to his niece Juanita Pruitt-Seabrooks and nephews Charles and Steven Pruitt for their unselfish giving of their time and assistance to uncle Richard.
