Robert Earnest (Jr.) Bobo

BOBO, ROBERT -   Robert Bobo passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the age of 67.  Robert was born on May 14, 1953 to the late Robert and Josephine Bobo in Jackson, Tennessee.  Robert better known to many as “Bobo” or “Jr.”  Robert was a former Steelcase welder.  He was the life of the party who made everyone he met laugh and smile.  Robert was so proud of his garden and enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Josephine Bobo.  He is survived by his two sons Mark Bobo of Orlando, FL, Michael Bobo of Grand Rapids, MI and one daughter, Tempest (Daijoun) Mosley. Four sisters Joann Davis; Donna (Manuel) Martin, Cynthia Jenkins and Toni Smith Cooley all of Grand Rapids MI; One brother Wayne Townsend of Seattle Washington and very special and loving friend; Pamela Warning.  31 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, Special Uncle and Aunt Danny Bobo and Doris Walker, a host of niece’s nephews, cousins and friends.   The home going services will be celebrated Wednesday April 28 at 11:00 am at the Brown Funeral Home, 627 Jefferson SE, Grand Rapids, MI  49503.  Interment Garfield Park Cemetery.  His family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Pastor George Davis, Officiating.
