Rudolph White
Rudolph (Rudy) White was born on January 17, 1951, to the union of Willie and Caszine White in Muskegon, Michigan. He received his formal education at Muskegon Heights High School and was member of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Early in life, as a young man he relocated to Grand Rapids, Michigan where many family members previously resides and he would often travel back to Muskegon to see family and friends left behind. He became the family bridge between Muskegon and Grand Rapids.
Rudy was a hardworking man who spent many years employed in factories and working on cars. He had a great love for fishing, grilling, listening to music, being surrounded by family, and he could truly cook. He took pleasure in everything he did and left lasting memories with everyone who knew and loved him. Rudy was known for being authentic, loving, funny, and unapologetically himself.
Rudy was a devoted family man who deeply loved his family, and they knew it. He was always there for them and would have done anything for them. His presence, wisdom, and spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father; Willie White, mother, Caszine White, brothers; Syvester White, Riley White, Terry White, and Jackson White, sisters; Jesse Mae Hartfield, Sandra Buchanan, and Willie Henry Watts, and grandson; Elijah Jackson.

“Poem”
Do not weep for me too long, For I have found my peace.
The pain has faded into silence, And every struggle has been released.
Carry me not in sorrow alone, But in the warmth of brighter days In laughter shared, in stories told, In quiet love that never fades.
Remember me not for how I left, But for how I lived each day:
For the strength I gave, the love I shared, And the memories that will stay.
So when you speak my name today, Let your hearts be filled with light.
For though I've gone beyond your sight, My love remains beside you always.
These are the words I believe my father would want us to carry with us today
He was deeply loved and touched many lives, and we are grateful to gather in celebration of him.
